Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)
Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a disorder most commonly found in males between the ages of 19 and 40, and is described bas a disorder in which the individual has an inflated sense of self-importance. Because the person believes they are stronger/smarter/wiser/better than the average individual, we often see narcissistic traits in leaders - whether that is the leader of a household or a country. NPD requires a professional diagnosis and cannot be cured, however with self-recognition, talk therapy can help manage the symptoms. If a person meets at least five of the characteristics below, they may have NPD.
